Subgenus Allimanta Casal & García

Allimanta was originally proposed as a subgenus of Culex by Casal & Garcia (1968), with tramazayguesi Duret, 1954 as its type and the only included species. Culex tramazayguesi was originally described as a species of subgenus Culex.
