Subgenus Lasiosiphon Kirkpatrick

Lasiosiphon was originally proposed as a subgenus of Culex by Kirkpatrick (1925), with adairi Kirkpatrick, 1926, a replacement name for pluvialis Kirkpatrick, 1925, as its type and the only included species.
