The area of wing membrane enclosed between radius-two and radius-three; its length is measured (according to Belkin, 1962) along the projection of the longitudinal axis of radius-two-plus-three from the point of separation of radius-two and radius-three; this length compared to the length of radius-two-plus-three measured along the same axis.
