Definition:

In larvae, the most ventral of the conspicuous setae of abdominal segment VIII; usually branched. In pupae, arbitrarily a minute dorsoposterior seta borne caudomesad of seta 9 and laterad of seta 4 on abdominal segment VIII; known only in species of Kenknightia.
