Definition:

Seta 4-X, usually a more or less linear series of irregularly paired setae borne posteroventrally on the midline of abdominal segment X; often divided into two groups, a posterior group of cratal or boss setae borne on a grid or boss, respectively, and an anterior group of precratal or preboss setae borne cephalad of the grid of boss, respectively.
